Getting started

How do I start a chat?

Press "New chat" at the top of the sidebar, pick a model in the model picker and type your message. Each model shows what one message costs, and badges tell you which ones understand images, can search the web, or work with your daily free credits.

Use the "+" button in the message box to attach files, and the "Search the web" switch (on models that can search) for up-to-date answers.

Start a new chat

Can I use models on my own computer?

Yes. Install Ollama, then choose "On this computer" in the model picker and connect it. Those models run on your machine, so they use no credits.

How do I keep my chats organised?

Make folders in the sidebar (they can have one level of sub-folders and a colour) and drag chats into them, or use a chat’s menu to pin it, move it, rename it or send it to the trash. Deleting a folder keeps its chats.

Projects group chats, documents and files around one piece of work, and the Projects page also holds your saved prompts so you can reuse them in new chats.

Open Projects

Can I tell the AI about myself or how I like answers?

Yes. In Settings → Personalisation you can describe yourself, say how answers should read, and pick the language to answer in. It’s added to every new chat.

Open Settings

I deleted something by mistake. Can I get it back?

Deleted chats, projects, files, documents and spreadsheets go to the Trash, where you can restore them. They stay there until you choose "Delete forever", which can’t be undone.

Open Trash

A feature I used before is gone from the sidebar.

Your administrator can switch features such as AI Docs, slides, sheets, diagrams, AI Sites, images, agents, workflows and connected apps off. Your work in them is kept and comes back when the feature is switched on again.

Credits and pricing

How are messages priced?

Credits are charged per message, and the price depends on the model: the model picker shows it ("1 credit per message", for example) and about how many messages your credits pay for. Very large messages, such as ones with big files or long chats, can cost more, and the message box tells you when that happens.

Web searches add a small number of credits per search. While an answer is being written its credits are held, then the actual amount is charged when it finishes. When you’re low on credits, the answer is kept short enough to fit what you have, so you never owe anything.

Do I pay for answers that fail?

No. If an answer fails, its credits are refunded automatically and you can press "Retry (free)". If you stop an answer before it writes anything, it’s free; once it has started, it costs its normal message price.

What are daily free credits?

If you haven’t bought credits, you get 15 free credits every day once your email is verified. They refill at midnight, and unused ones don’t carry over. They only work with models marked "Free" in the model picker. The sidebar shows how many you have left today.

You also get 25 trial credits once, to try any model, even the most powerful ones. They’re used when your free credits can’t pay for a message, and the sidebar shows what’s left of them.

Once you buy credits, those are used instead and the free ones stop until your balance runs out. Free credits can also be paused for the rest of the month, once you’ve used your monthly free allowance or the platform’s runs out.

Where can I see what I’ve spent?

Usage & credits shows your balance, what you used each day, the cost by model and by chat, and every credit movement over the last 30 days. Your balance in the sidebar turns red when you’re running low.

Files and uploads

What files can I upload?

Documents such as PDF, Word (.docx), text, Markdown, CSV and JSON, and images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF). AI Sheets also reads Excel, CSV/TSV and tables from other documents. Files can be up to 10 MB, or up to 20 MB with a plan that includes large files.

To have the AI look at an image, pick a model with the "Understands images" badge.

Where do my files go?

Everything you upload or make with AI is in the Library: files, images, documents, slides, sheets, diagrams, sites and 3D models. It all uses your Library space: everyone gets 500 MB. The Library shows how much you use and what uses it.

When your space is full, nothing is deleted: you can still open, edit and download everything, but uploads and new AI work pause until you make room (delete things and empty the Trash) or get more space. Deleted items go to the Trash and still use space there until they are deleted for good (the Trash says after how many days) or you empty it.

Making things with AI

What can AI Docs do?

Write documents with AI: draft from a prompt, continue writing, proofread, summarize, or select text to improve, shorten, lengthen or change its tone. Studio designs CVs, flyers, invoices and social posts.

Documents save automatically and keep a version history. Download them as Word (.docx), PDF, Markdown or a web page.

Open AI Docs

How do I make a presentation?

In AI slides, describe your talk or paste an outline and the AI builds a deck of 3–30 slides with ready layouts, speaker notes and AI pictures. Present from the app, or download as PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF or pictures.

How do I make a 3D model?

In 3D Models, describe an object and pick a generator. Your administrator decides which are offered: a chat model that builds the object from simple coloured shapes, or a dedicated 3D generator (Meshy) that makes a detailed, textured model. The price is shown before you start.

Generation runs in the background, so you can leave the page: the bell tells you when the model is ready. View it in 3D (drag to rotate, scroll to zoom), make new versions from a different description, and download it as a .glb file, which works in Blender, Unity, game engines and most 3D viewers.

If a model can’t be made, its credits are released automatically. You can run two generations at a time.

What can AI Sheets do?

Spreadsheets with formulas, charts and AI. Build a sheet from a request or from an Excel/CSV file, a document or a photo of a table, and ask the AI to write formulas, explain or clean data, make charts or fill columns row by row.

Download a workbook as Excel (.xlsx) or a sheet as CSV.

Open AI Sheets

How do AI diagrams work?

Describe a diagram and the AI draws it (PlantUML, Mermaid or Graphviz). You can edit its code, every version is kept, and you can download it as SVG, PNG, PDF or source code. If the AI request fails, you aren’t charged.

What does “Beta” next to a feature mean?

The feature is new and still being improved. It works like any other, and after you use it we ask how it went: a star rating, whether it worked, and whether you got what you hoped for. Your answers go straight to the team.

You can skip the questions, or tick “Don’t ask me again today” to stop them for that feature until tomorrow.

How do I make a website with AI Sites?

Describe your website (what it is for and any real details such as opening hours, prices or an address), pick a template, and the AI writes the pages. The AI only uses details you give it: it won’t invent reviews, prices or contact details.

Click any part of the preview to edit it, ask the AI to change one section or the whole site, and switch templates any time without losing your words. Every AI change is kept in the history.

Publish puts the website online at its own link (/s/your-name). Edits go live when you publish them again, and you can take it offline any time. You can also download it as a ZIP of HTML files to host anywhere. If an AI request fails, you aren’t charged.

How do I make or edit an image?

In AI images, describe a picture, or upload one and say how to change it. Every version is kept. Image models are priced per image, which the picker shows before you start.

Agents, workflows and connected apps

What are connected apps?

Connect your own apps (mail, calendar, docs, tasks and more) so chats, agents and workflows can use them. You sign in to each app on its own site, and can disconnect it any time. In chats and agents, anything that would change something asks you first.

Open Connected apps

What is an AI agent?

An agent works through a task on its own, following instructions you can edit, using your connected apps and (optionally) web search. When it wants to change something it stops with "Needs your OK" so you can approve or decline each action.

Each AI step of a run is billed like a chat message.

Open AI agents

What are workflows?

Automations built from steps: AI prompts, agents, app actions, web requests, conditions, loops and waits. Run them by hand, on a schedule or from a secret webhook URL, or describe one and let the AI build it.

AI steps are billed to the run. Note that app actions in a workflow run without asking, so check them before you switch a schedule on.

Sharing and collaboration

How do I work on a chat or project with someone?

Create an invite link from the chat or project’s share menu. "Can edit" lets people send prompts, upload files and rename (they pay for their own prompts); "Can view" lets them follow every message live without sending prompts.

A link can work for one person or anyone who has it, and expires after 1, 7 or 30 days. You can switch it off at any time. People added to a project can see its chats and documents.

Account security and your data

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in page choose "Forgot password?" and enter your email. We’ll send a link that works for 1 hour (check your spam folder if you don’t see it). Setting a new password signs you out on every device.

Signed in already? Change your password in Settings; your other devices are signed out.

Reset my password

How do I turn on two-step verification?

In Settings → Two-step verification, choose one or both: an authenticator app (scan the code with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, Authy or similar, then enter the 6-digit code) or a code by email (we email you a code to confirm it reaches you). After your password, sign-in asks for a code from whichever you turned on.

With the authenticator app you also get backup codes: each works once if you lose your phone, and you can make new ones later. You can switch either method off separately.

If you sign in with Google, your Google account’s own two-step verification protects you.

What is a passkey?

A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password, with no code to type. It can’t be phished or guessed, because it only works on this site and never leaves your device (or your password manager).

Add one in Settings → Passkeys, then choose "Sign in with a passkey" on the sign-in page (many browsers also suggest it when you click the email box). You can add several, for example your phone and your laptop, and rename or remove them any time.

Open Settings

Can I download my data?

Yes. Settings → Your data downloads one file with your account, chats, documents, projects, prompts, agents, workflows, credit history, payments and support questions. Uploaded files and spreadsheets are listed, not included, so download any you need from the Library and AI Sheets first.

Open Settings

How do I delete my account?

In Settings → Your data, choose to delete your account and confirm with your password (or your email for Google accounts). Your chats, documents, files, agents and remaining credits are deleted for good, and any paid plan is cancelled right away. This can’t be undone.
